Oh special friend, we’ll miss you so. We truly hate to see you go.

We’ve loved you from the very start.
And seeing you leave will break our hearts.

Your morning visits set the tone
For happy moments all day long.

You’d show up often at our door
To bring us smiles and so much more.

And when you came to spend the night
We’d wake to please your appetite.

Your favorite food was Fancy Feast
Your appetite more like a beast.

Those nights were sometimes long for you
Your loud "meow" was rowdy, too

But even then how glad we were
To feel the softness of your fur.

Our basement was a favorite haunt,
With boxes, corners......all you’d want.

You loved our laundry basket, too.
Curled up with towels, you’d softly “mew.”

That you’re top cat there is no doubt.
It will seem strange to be without.

And though you may be Portland bound,
A fan club here you’ve surely found.

Oh special friend, we’ll miss you so.
We truly hate to see you go.
